NCAA Football: No, Thank YOU, Mr. Heisman.

Florida Gators 56, Hawaii Warriors 10
#5 Florida routed Hawaii, no shocker there. However the Gators have the sophomore Heisman Trophy winning, baby circumcising, superman Tim Tebow. Many ( Including myself) regarded Tebow's performance as average compared to the record breaking play he demonstrated last year. But this is not last year and Tebow doesn't seemed worried about his playing. Probably has something to do with the fact that it normally ends in victory.
“Aw, shucks,” Tebow said, mockingly, when asked about falling so far below the unrealistic pace he set for himself.

He took his girlfriend to the soda fountain for a 'swell' pop afterwards if you wanted to know. The question looming is whether Tebow can repeat a Heisman worthy season, which seems more unrealistic every game. The Gators have many more offensive weapons, so they will need to rely on Tebow far less to be a one man show. This is primarily due to a new running back presence in freshman Jeffery Demps. Demps was the leading rusher Saturday (76 yards on two carries), and also ran a 10.1 100 meters in the Olympic trials. That is good news for Tebow, because it will means he will take far less poundings than last year as he was forced so many times to run the football; and will probably prolong his short but already superb career.
I like that Tim displays a good attitude about not being so focused on individual stardom and rather team success. It may even benefit him in the long run; the MVP on the winning est team is almost always a front runner for the Heisman. He could end up on top again should the Gators keep winning.
