Michael Phelps hosted the season premiere of SNL. SNL garnered some of it's best opening episode ratings in recent memory, but not for Phelps...Tina Fey's kick ass impression of Sarah Palin was the show stealer. Phelps's performance received lukewarm ratings, most in agreement that he is simply too awkward of an individual on land to keep up his star power very much longer.
