NFL Update: Where were you when the world stopped turning?

This week's BIGGEST NFL Headline: Tom Brady out for the Season. Just uttering the words even now, days after the announcement; I can literally hear the hearts of New England fans and Tom Brady fantasy football owners breaking. Brady will have surgery on his knee, and then be free to roam the open plains of New York fashion week scouring for new supermodels to impregnate. Sounds like a lovely elongated off season for the Golden Boy.

But what are we supposed to do now? What is the NFL supposed to do? What are the millions of fantasy football owners who's season is ruined after Tom Brady went down? - Suddenly, Vince Young isn't alone standing on some skyscraper ledge.

The fallout from Brady-gate is trickling down, fantasy football players across the country said to lose 150 million dollars from Tom's injury. I don't know if that speaks to the large, pathetic, gambling addicted population in our country- all I know is that's a ton of money lost- can we give that back to the US population in the form of rebate checks? pretty please?

The other fallout from this injury- Matt Cassel will now start at quarterback for the New England Patriots. A professional backup quarterback who hasn't made a start since high school. Good thing he plays for the most delusional fan base on the planet.
